A road rage incident in Aberdeen escalated to gun threats and tire stabbing on January 3, 2025. Police say a 42-year-old Oakville man pointed a pistol at a 65-year-old Westport driver before stabbing the victim's tire and fleeing. Officers later found the suspect in a nearby building, and were able to arrest him without incident. Police say they recovered the pistol from the man’s backpack. The man now faces multiple charges and was booked in the Aberdeen City Jail.
