Shutting down sections of Bradford Street and 5th Street for about three weeks.
The City of Aberdeen is kicking off road repairs today, shutting down sections of Bradford Street and 5th Street for about three weeks to fix crumbling concrete. Drivers and pedestrians are urged to find alternate routes while crews work to replace damaged pavement. Also starting today, the southbound lane of the North Aberdeen Bridge is closed for geotechnical drilling, with traffic shifting to the northbound side—expect some delays with flaggers directing cars. Work on the bridge should wrap up by the end of the week, with construction happening from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
