A vehicle pursuit in Hoquiam yesterday morning was terminated over concerns for public safety. According to Grays Harbor Scanner, Hoquiam police began chasing a vehicle just before 5:30am that was taken earlier during a robbery in Aberdeen. The chase began on Broadway Ave. with the stolen vehicle eventually going north on E. Hoquiam Road. As traffic started to increase, the stolen car began to cut into oncoming traffic lanes creating a safety hazard. Police backed off the chase and at last check officers were still investigating the whereabouts of the stolen car.
