Grays Harbor and Pacific County will join the Great Washington ShakeOut tomorrow morning at 10:16, part of the world’s biggest earthquake and tsunami drill. Sirens along the coast will blast the wailing sound of a tsunami warning, not the usual tones, to help residents practice what to do in a real emergency. People in low-lying areas are urged to use the moment to test their evacuation routes. Pacific County’s emergency office will send a reverse 911 message today to make sure everyone’s ready.
