The incoming Aberdeen school district superintendent was in town last week. Dr. Jeffery Thake was here to take part in staff interview sessions for next school year. He also took a tour of Miller Junior High School. It’s all part of the transition process to replace Alicia Henderson, who is retiring this year. Her last day on the job will be June 30th and Dr. Thake will officially start on July 1st.
