Firefighters were dispatched to a two story residential house fire on North H street
A tragic end to a weekend fire in Aberdeen. Just before 5:30am Saturday morning, firefighters were dispatched to a two story residential house fire on North H street. Crews reported smoke coming from the building that looked abandoned with plywood covering most of the windows. There were 16 firefighters total who responded to the fire,10 from Aberdeen and 6 from Hoquiam. It was later discovered that one person was found dead in that building. So far a cause of death for that person has been determined and how the fire started is also still being investigated.
