A weeklong WSDOT project on State Route 6 in Pacific County will slow you down next week. Starting Monday Crew will be closing one lane of traffic as part of the Willapa Hills State Park Trail State Crossing project. State officials say while the work is for a pedestrian bridge over the road, for the workers safety flaggers will be directing drivers while one alternating lane of traffic is closed during the day. Overnights next week, crews will have a total closure of the highway with marked detours to follow. WSDOT advises drivers to allow extra time until the work is done, which should be by next Friday.
