We told you earlier this week about the state of Washington winning over $500 million in a settlement
with three companies who played a part in the opioid epidemic. We now know the breakdown of who
will get that money and how much each will get. According to the figures released by the attorney
general’s office, Grays Harbor will receive just over $2 million dollars while Pacific County will get a little
over $1 million. To break it down even further, Aberdeen will receive $535,000 from the Grays Harbor
portion. In all 125 government entities will get a portion of the settlement with the first payment
coming in December.
