From South Willapa Bay to the Canadian border including Grays Harbor.
Coastal Dungeness crab season opens February 11th from South Willapa Bay to the Canadian border, including Grays Harbor. A 73-hour pre-soak period for setting gear begins February 8th, followed by hold inspections starting February 10th. All vessels must have activated electronic monitoring systems installed before setting gear. This opening date follows agreements with tribal co-managers and harvest management plans, including a delayed opening south of Point Chehalis to accommodate tribal fisheries.
