Ocean Shores has a new, fast way to re-charge your electric vehicle. A Tesla Super charging station is up and operational next to the convention center in town. The Daily World reports the station with 8 charging ports went online in mid-October and is the second super charger in Grays Harbor following another that recently opened in Aberdeen. The rapid charger can recharge most electric cars in about an hour. The station was paid for by Tesla but with an adapter should work on most EVs. City leaders say there are plans for another electric car charging station near the Ocean Shores Library.
