Another phone scam is being reported in Pacific County. The sheriff’s office says they’ve received reports about scammers claiming to be with the Pacific County sheriff’s office, threatening the victim with arrest if they don’t pay a fee. The sheriff’s office will never call you asking for any kind of payment, and they will not warn you before arresting you. They advices that anyone who gets a call like this and is unsure, to go to pacific county sheiff.com and call back one of the numbers listed there.
