Middle and high school students who want to learn how to be prepared for the next disaster can join in a free Webinar this evening put on by FEMA. The agency will discuss the Youth Preparedness Council and the process of applying to join the council at tonight’s meeting. . The YPC is an application based, FEMA-managed program open to 8th-11th grade students who have an interest in disaster preparedness and making a difference in their communities. The YPC brings together leaders in grades 8-11 from across the country who are passionate about emergency preparedness and making a difference in their communities. This session will be facilitated by FEMA Region 10's YPC Co-Chairs, who are current members. A link to the Zoom meeting that begins at 6pm tonight can be found on our website.
