In Grays Harbor over 90 candidates have filed to run for 73 available offices so far including many incumbents. Multiple candidates have filed to run in the Aberdeen or Westport Mayoral races making a primary runoff in August Necessary for both. At the same time there are multiple races, including several city council seats where no candidate has filed to run yet. The deadline to file for an open office is tomorrow at 4pm and election officials are advising anyone who wants to run for an office to file online if possible.
