Mason County Crash Information Released

The coroner’s office is releasing the names of the people involved in a deadly crash.

The coroner’s office is releasing the names of the people involved in a deadly crash in Mason County this weekend that involved a WSP Trooper. On Saturday afternoon, that trooper was driving southbound on 101, responding to an emergency with lights and sirens when the crash happened at an intersection in Shelton. 72-year-old Charles Ferree and 49 year old Deolia Blandford died from their injuries. The trooper was hospitalized as a precaution. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
