Cops are warning of a new elaborate phone scam where the scammer comes to your house. The scammer then pretended to be with the federal reserve and convinced the victim to withdraw a large amount of money from their account to protect it from theft. The scammer then sent a courier to the person’s home to pick up the money for safekeeping. Police say banks will never call and ask you to withdraw money.
