PCEMA Clears Up Earthquake Concerns

Since Sunday afternoon there have been 5 earthquakes in the Aleutian Islands.

The Pacific County Emergency Management agency wants to clear up concerns over recent earthquakes in the region. First, last Thursday, there was an earthquake west of Eureka, California. Since Sunday afternoon there have been 5 earthquakes in the Aleutian Islands. Experts say All of these earthquakes occurred in areas known for their high levels of seismic activity. Scientists are in agreement that there is no concern over this recent rash of earthquakes. However, seismologists say that any activity that catches your attention is a good reminder to be smart, educated, and prepared.
