A deadly car vs pedestrian crash happened yesterday morning in downtown Aberdeen. The Daily World reports the call came in just after 7am on Heron Street. Police said The 55-year-old man was dead when units arrived on scene. Reports say the 52-year-old woman driving the car, stopped when the crash happened and immediately called 9-1-1. Police say the man was crossing away from a marked cross walk and that the driver was cooperating and showed no signs of impairment. Investigators do not believe criminal charges will be recommended.
