More than 5,000 customers on Grays Harbor’s South Beach will lose power overnight June 26 as the PUD carries out a planned outage. The power will go out at 10 p.m. Thursday and could last until 4 a.m. Friday, affecting Westport, Grayland, Tokeland, and surrounding areas along State Route 105. The work is part of a major project to relocate utility poles off the highway, as required by WSDOT. Customers are urged to unplug electronics and avoid doing any electrical work during the outage.
