High gas prices yet again
Another record setting week for gas prices in Washington State. The statewide average today is at $5.12 per gallon for regular unleaded. That’s 27 cents more than a week ago and $1.64 higher than a year ago. The average price for a gallon of gas in Grays Harbor has climbed to $5.25 today while Pacific County drivers are paying an average of $5.37 per gallon. Despite these record high prices, both statewide and nationwide, AAA predicts Memorial Day weekend travel will increase by over 8% compared to a year ago.
