Fire crews in Hoquiam rushed to SR 109 Thursday after reports of a travel trailer on fire—first near Grass Creek, then updated to milepost 3 on the bypass, where flames could be seen. Hoquiam PD shut down the road at the 109 cutoff, and according to Grays Harbor Scanner, the trailer was abandoned, unattached to any vehicles, with no one inside. The fire was put out and the cause is still being determined.
