Young adults interested in learning more about law enforcement have a chance to become an Aberdeen Police Explorer. Explorers learn about law enforcement first-hand through training and riding on patrol with officers. Explorers also serve the department and community in a variety of ways, while developing a greater understanding of the criminal justice system. The program is open to young people 15 to 20 years old and there will be an informational meeting on Wednesday September 20th starting at 6pm inside the Aberdeen High School Commons area. You can also go to the Aberdeen Police Facebook page for more details.
