A bill that would allow State Fish & Wildlife Police to work extra jobs just like State Patrol passed the house over the weekend. HB 1369 would Require the state fish and wildlife department to encourage its officers to work off-duty law enforcement jobs and create policy guidelines. The state government would not be liable for an off-duty officer’s conduct. The measure now moves to the state senate.
