Crews finished the last of the paving work on Friday.
WSDOT says all the paving and repair work on US 101 on Cosi Hill is complete. Crews finished the last of the paving work on Friday. That part of the Slope Stabilization Project started in January 2020 due to chronic roadway settlement that required two separate repair projects. The now-complete milepost 78 work was the second of those projects. US 101 sits on a pre-historic landslide and heavy rains triggered the roadway to drop more than five feet.
