Sheriff’s deputies had to make a Monday night river rescue in Montesano. Grays Harbor Scanner reports a car was spotted in the river near Old Wynoochie Valley Road last night. According to reports, the man needed assistance and the sheriff’s office had to get a boat for him. Radio traffic indicated the man had been arrested on a DUI charge this past weekend and was listed as a missing person out of Clallam County. The sheriff’s office had the man out of the river and back on dry land about 2 hours after the initial call.
