Grays Harbor to receive grant money
Over $1.3 million in grant money from the FAA will be coming to three western Washington counties, including Grays Harbor, to fund repairs and renovations. It was announced this week that $180,000 will go to the Ocean Shores Municipal Airport to cover the cost of removing vegetation obstacles from the approach path of runway 33. Bowerman Airport in Hoquiam will receive over $860,000 to install replacement airfield guidance signs to be FAA compliant and to repair cracks along 5,000 feet of runway 6/24. In Total Washington State was given $38 million in FAA grant money for 29 airport projects across the state.
