The Hoquiam Police Department just hit a major benchmark, earning its third reaccreditation from the state’s top law-enforcement standards group. HPD first became accredited in 2013 and has kept that status through tough reviews in 2017, 2021, and now 2025, meeting every one of the 146 best-practice requirements.
