County leaders with Pacific and Grays Harbor counties are advising residents to prepare for potential thunderstorms later today. Officials say erratic winds, heavy rain, and hail are possible. While the tornado risk remains low, the strongest storms could bring wind gusts up to 60 mph and quarter-sized hail. Grays Harbor County Emergency Management has issued a weather alert, and any severe storms will trigger Hyper-Reach notifications and emergency alerts. Coastal areas should also brace for high surf conditions Thursday into Friday as storm activity continues.
