High tech search and rescue gear helps to finds an Aberdeen man 24 hours after he went missing in the snow. Grays harbor sheriff’s deputies responded to a missing person call last Sunday morning for a man who went for a walk around 5pm the night before. Authorities launched a search and rescue mission that included West Coast Search Dogs and a drone from the department of corrections with thermal imaging. Just after 4pm Sunday, almost entire day since he went missing, that man was located with the drone, and search teams were able to rescue the man. He was taken to Harbor Regional for treatment of hypothermia and a possible seizure.
