Starting Dec. 28 and including New Year’s Day
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has announced seven days of razor clam digging on coastal beaches, starting Dec. 28 and including New Year’s Day. Officials urge diggers to follow beach rules, including a 25-mph driving limit and restrictions on fireworks and bonfires near dune grass. A reminder that Low tide digging is prohibited before noon when low tide is in the afternoon or evening and diggers should verify that their chosen beach is open before traveling to the coast.
