Razor clam digging is back on Washington beaches starting this week. Several spots, including Long Beach and Twin Harbors, open April 1 through April 7 with more digs planned into May. Conditions have been good so far, but openings still depend on safety testing. The 2025-26 fishing license expires today, so you’ll need a new one starting tomorrow before you head out. And remember, the limit is still15 clams and you have to keep the first ones you find.
