Hoquiam police say one person was injured in a two-car rollover crash involving a mail van yesterday. It
happened near the intersection of Sumner Avenue and 31 st street right around lunchtime. The driver of
an SUV, traveling west on Sumner, was hit by a postal van trying to cross the road. The van hit the SUV,
causing it to rollover. The driver of that SUV was transported to Harbor Regional with unknown injuries.
Police say speed was not a factor and it did not appear that either driver was impaired.
