Aberdeen Police responded to a call of a reported shoplifter at Safeway Thursday afternoon. The Grays Harbor Scanner reported that when the robbery suspect was confronted at the store, the suspect pulled out a knife and made some threats, then ran away on foot headed east on State Street. When the cops arrived, they immediately began a search for that person and called in a k9 unit for assistance. The latest report says the dogs were unable to track the person and that officers were still investigating the incident.
