Aberdeen’s fire department got a major boost Wednesday with a $50,000 donation from AGP., the Port of Grays Harbor’s largest customer.

Aberdeen’s fire department got a major boost Wednesday with a $50,000 donation from AGP., the Port of Grays Harbor’s largest customer. The Midwest-based agribusiness says it wants to support the community as it expands operations at Terminal 4B, expected to bring 80 new jobs by mid-2026. Aberdeen’s Fire Chief Dave Golding says the funds will help upgrade equipment and training to meet growing demands. Port leaders praised AGP as a valued partner committed to local safety and growth.
