Aberdeen Police release information about their first drug arrest under a new law.
Aberdeen Police release information about their first drug arrest under a new law. According to the release, officer Kyle Hoffman arrested a 53 year old local man, following a traffic stop, for possession of meth on Tuesday. The new law allows officers to make an arrest on the first offence instead of being required to refer to treatment, as the previous law was written. The man was jailed for the meth possession and traffic violation, both, according to the report, are misdemeanors. You can read the full release from authorities at the Aberdeen Police Facebook page.
