An Excessive Heat Warning issued for much of northwest Washinton Sunday is in effect until at least this evening. The weather warning includes Westport, Ocean Shores, Copalis Beach and Pacific Beach and is in effect due to the forecast of high winds and low humidity today. The high temperature is expected to get into the triple digits in some areas today. Officials warn people to stay hydrated and inside air-conditioned places whenever possible, and never leave young children or pets unattended inside vehicles.
