The leak happened around 9:30am and forced evacuations while crews shut down nearby traffic and worked to secure the area. Firefighters, police, utility crews, and emergency management teams from across Grays Harbor County responded to the scene. Officials say the gas leak was fully secured by late afternoon, and residents were eventually allowed back into their homes.
