The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has approved seven days of digs on coastal beaches, starting Saturday, Feb. 8.

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has approved seven days of digs on coastal beaches, starting Saturday, Feb. 8. Officials say it’s a great chance to dig fresh clams for your game-day spread or even a Valentine’s Day date. A reminder that Digging is only allowed during afternoon and evening low tides. The season runs through April 3, with more digs planned in the coming weeks.
