The U.S. National Weather Service is monitoring a storm system expected to bring flooding, hazardous surf, and strong winds to Grays Harbor County this weekend. Minor flooding is possible during Friday's high tide, with Saturday likely seeing moderate flooding from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.. Hazardous surf with waves reaching 15-17 feet may cause coastal flooding, while gusts of 45-50 mph, with a slight chance of 60 mph wind gust are forecast. Elevated tides and minor flooding are expected to persist into early next week, and Grays Harbor County Emergency Management says they will closely track developments.
