WSDOT will start paving projects in parts of Grays Harbor and Thurston counties within the next few weeks. Crews will begin closing lanes on eastbound SR 8 between US 12 in Grays Harbor County and US 101 in Thurston County. Drivers can expect day and night single-lane closures. Crews will grind old asphalt and replace it with a fresh layer. Once work of State Route 8 in done, workers wil move on to 108. Al the work should finish by the fall. The state will provide dates for the closures on the WSDOT app and real-time map.
