A plane and pilot who’ve been missing since taking off from the Tacoma narrows airport last month was found in Queets Monday. Air Search and Rescue crews from WSDOT located the missing Cessna plane in the forest near Queets 36 days since it had gone missing. The pilot, Rod Collen, was found deceased in the plane with authorities saying he likely died on impact. The NTSB will now investigate the cause of the crash. A full report could take between 12 and 18 months to publish.
