There’s a new place to play pickleball near Montesano, along with easier access to the water at Friends Landing.

There’s a new place to play pickleball near Montesano, along with easier access to the water at Friends Landing. The Port of Grays Harbor celebrated the improvements last week. Boaters now have a paved and striped parking lot, an accessible boarding ramp and better lighting. The park also has new accessible sidewalks, picnic tables and benches. A state grant paid for the boat-launch upgrades, while donations from the Kelsey Foundation and Grays Harbor Community Foundation helped fund the other improvements.
