Razor clam season is almost here, and Washington is proposing 40 digging days along the coast this fall and winter. The schedule runs from October 9 through December 27 at Long Beach, Twin Harbors, Copalis and Mocrocks, but each opening still depends on marine toxin testing. WDFW says Long Beach and Twin Harbors remain in good shape, while weaker clam populations at Copalis and Mocrocks will mean fewer opportunities there. The daily limit stays at 15 clams per person.
