A 36-year-old man is jailed after police say he nearly hit a patrol car, drove onto a sidewalk and led officers through an Aberdeen neighborhood Tuesday afternoon. The SUV crossed into oncoming traffic and blew through several stop signs before the driver finally pulled over near East Fifth Street. Officers arrested him without incident and obtained a warrant for a blood test after noticing signs of impairment. He was booked for DUI and eluding. No one was hurt.
