Scammers are once again targeting Grays Harbor PUD customers with fake threats of power shutoffs. Utility officials say callers are telling customers they owe money and must pay immediately, and some calls even appear to come from the PUD. The sheriff's office and PUD are reminding residents never to send money or share bank or credit card information over the phone. Anyone who receives one of these calls should hang up and contact the PUD directly to check their account status.
