The Pacific County Emergency Management Agency says Coordinator Marcelina Medina has finished FEMA’s National Emergency Management Basic Academy. The program focuses on emergency response planning, recovery efforts and communicating with the public during disasters. County leaders say the training strengthens the region’s ability to prepare for and respond to emergencies.
