A cluster of earthquakes off the southern Oregon coast has sparked worry online, but local officials say it’s nothing out of the ordinary.

Ocean Shores Police stayed busy last month with 934 calls for service, their August stats show.

With nearly 50 digs planned through early January on Washington’s coast.

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office credits Kitsap deputies for helping make the arrest and says teamwork got her into custody.

He was out on bond by Thursday morning.

Elma’s street striping project has been pushed back to Tuesday, Sept. 16, with crews starting work at 7:30 in the morning.
